Heavy Slug H&N HP .22 - 38g .218 The new Heavy Slug from H&N made in partnership and development with Air Hunter Gerhard. These are extra hard hitting due to the weight. Top Tip is your rifle must be capable of shooting a heavy slug at the power required - most recommend 900 FPS and above. These slugs are LONG and FX Magazines we recommend a thinner 3rd party                 ( customer must purchase ) magazine lid - they will rotate, in small loads - they will single load, but may be too long for some magazines.  These slugs are sold loose in a tin, and thus do show transport marks and scuffs. The H&N Heavy Slug HP sets new standards in terms of accuracy at distances way beyond 50 meters. An extremely favorable BC ensures a flat trajectory and excellent energy retention. To accommodate different barrel profiles and power levels we offer options in diameters and weights.
