Please be aware if you are not in for a delivery we cannot rearrange, this is something YOU must arrange with the courier directly. If the item is left at a Collection Point or a Sorting Office - GO and GET IT. We offer no compensation if the Courier decides to leave it at a collection point.
If you want your item for the forthcoming weekend we suggest ordering on or before 11am on the Wednesday and don't use 2nd class postage.
If you change any part of the delivery process, for example - request delivery to go to a collection point, or ask to be left in a safe place or with a neighbour - we are no longer responsible for delivery of that purchase or the cost of any lost items / damage to items and are not responsible for finding any lost package or chasing where any items have ended up. Any communication via any electronic device, ring bell, cameras, CCTV or app / web requests to change the delivery null and voids any liability for Airgun 101 Shop.
We want everyone to get what they have purchased as soon as possible. We do the best we can, but postal prices are rising and service levels are no longer guaranteed. We work to bring the best value in postage vs speed. Sometimes waiting an extra day can save quite a few ££'s
ALL postage is handled by Royal Mail / Parcel Force / UPS - we are not liable for any delays to deliveries - we are not liable for lost time, and damages you feel you incur through late delivery. We offer zero compensation for any late deliveries or lost in post out of our control.
Lost Items + Fraud Claims - Lets be Blunt Here
Lost items in the Royal Mail Post - we always endeavour to do our best here at Airgun 101 Shop - however we have zero control over the Postman, which applies to us and any other business. If the Postman loses the parcel or item we have a number to trace every parcel, therefore until we can confirm a lost parcel via the Royal Mail we will not resend any item or issue any refund. We always recommend using the Tracked RM option.
We will not resend any items or issue any refund until a Royal Mail / Courier Company investigation is completed - this can take 30 days +. Shouting at us, claiming inconvenience, claiming its ruined things, causing upset will not make us give money out, purchasing through an online store always has its risks. If you claim a lost package, as a business we are entitled to try and find it. As you would do if you sold something through the post. The Government guidelines allow business's upto 45 days to recover lost parcels and make good with customers.
We always supply a despatched / shipped alert and if applicable it will contain a number to confirm delivery or tracking if the option is paid for.

We always report lost items to the Police and ask the Royal Mail to investigate before we do any sort of refund. They normally find it and we have caught several individuals trying to rip us off. Unfortunately parcel fraud exists and some people do try it on, ruins it for everyone. Thus any claims are investigated before action is taken. Rude and impolite emails do not help and will not force use to give money back. Lost parcel claims can take 30 days + to resolve.

Sending Restricted Items - Airguns
We DO NOT currently send airguns or air pistols via any form or courier or in house despatch team. We prefer the purchaser to visit the store where we can assist them face to face.
It is illegal to sell an air weapon through the post or via a courier - it must be a face to face transfer with ID confirmed and at this time we do this in store.
VCR Act 2006 Products
Any items covered by the VCR Act 2006, such as rifles, pistols and any component parts are only returnable in person in store. We do not post out any of these products and are strictly in store collection only - thus any returns are in store in person only. We will not send couriers or collect even in the event of product failure.
Free Postage
If you have made a purchase which qualified for free postage over the threshold – then return items for any reason, which subsequently calculated the revised sale total down to not qualify for the free postage threshold, we will deduct the cost of the postage charge which we paid to send you the items from the refunded amount. We have to bring in this rule due to it being abused by some customers.
If the item faulty or non faulty was received by a free postage method - then the customer is responsible for the cost of the return postage.

Collection is possible between 10am and 1pm - Mon - Friday - you must email to make an appointment.
