The Caldwell VelociRadar Chronograph is precision redefined with cutting-edge Chirp radar technology. While most chronographs only provide velocity, the VelociRadar tracks the bullets downrange, offering a full picture of ballistic performance. Using this downrange data, the VelociRadar measures the drag on the bullet to calculate the ballistic coefficient and provides a true muzzle velocity and downrange energy. With a single shot, the VelociRadar creates a custom bullet drop chart showing the actual elevation adjustments needed for shots at longer ranges. The VelociRadar sits next to the shooter, not downrange, offering safe and quick setup and eliminating the risk of bullet impacts. Please be aware this is new technology. We are all learning. Our top tip, is the the radar will pick up what it can see. If the wind blows the projectile out of the detection area it will not see the projectile. We cannot offer tech support afterwards - installing apps and using the device is down to the customer.
